Esplanade Road in Newquay is one of the many luxury homes P Chapman Construction built on the Cornish coast. With views over Fistral Beach, the design uses single-ply flat roofs, grey powder-coated aluminium windows and clad elevations, with roof terraces and a hot tub facing the sea.
Why it matters for a Dubai villa
Roof terraces and flat roofs are standard in Dubai. They are also the most common source of water ingress in villas more than ten years old.
