Polgreen Manor, near Mawgan Porth, combined new-build and restoration to create a remarkable private estate. Historic stone buildings were restored and joined by new wings, with slate roofs and dormers, walled gardens and courtyards, all built to read as one coherent house. The project was Highly Commended in the 2020 LABC Building Excellence Awards.
